Texas Monthly (From December 2009) We have been back to this resurrected Tyler standby—think Cheers meets burger joint—two times in three weeks. It’s that good. The famous chicken-fried steak is excellent, but the steak sandwich is also exceptionally tasty, as is the shrimp po’boy, tangy with Cajun spices. Onion rings are sliced thin, and chicken fingers arrive hot and crunchy.
